Reservations and Large Parties

  1. Do you accept reservations?

    We accept a limited number of reservations for parties of six or less, and many of our restaurants also accept a limited number of large party reservations for off-peak dining. For parties up to six guests, please visit our Reservations page to make your reservation. For large parties, please call the restaurant and speak to a manager. He or she will be happy to guide you to the best times to dine!

  2. When is a good time to visit if I don’t have a lot of time to wait?

    Arrive early or dine late! Most restaurants are busiest at peak meal times; from noon - 2PM and 6 - 8PM on weekdays.  Weekends can be busy all day until about 9PM.  If you come on a weekday before 6PM, you can usually get right in without any wait at all! Our entire menu is always available at our self-seating “high top” tables located in our bar areas.  Also, everything on our menu except alcohol can be ordered online for takeout, by phone or at our bakery counters.  Most locations offer Takeout, Delivery and Curbside To-Go service.

  3. Can you accommodate large parties? 

    While each location is unique, most of our restaurants have open floor plans which can accommodate a few large parties. Many locations accept reservations for large parties (seven or more) for dining at quieter times such as for early lunch immediately after we open (11 or 11:30AM) or for weekday afternoons (3 - 5PM). We do not take reservations, even for large parties, for dining during busy times such as evenings, weekends, holidays or special event seasons such as prom or graduation. However, there are still many other off-peak times when we would be happy to reserve for your large party, so please call your local restaurant and speak to a manager. He or she will be happy to answer any questions for you!

  4. Can I book a Private Function?

    A few locations offer private dining rooms or banquet facilities to accommodate 25 to 200 guests. See our Banquet Information page.

Visiting Our Restaurants

  1. Do you have takeout?  Delivery?

    Everything on our menu except alcohol is available for takeout! You may place your order in advance by ordering online, by calling the restaurant directly or by ordering at the bakery counter when you arrive.  In addition, many of our restaurants offer Curbside To-Go Service, where we deliver your food to your car! When placing an online order, choose the Curbside To-Go option or ask the restaurant for details when placing a phone order. Some restaurants offer DoorDash delivery. See if DoorDash delivery is available in your area.

  2. Do you cater?

    Unfortunately, we do not offer a catering menu at this time. However, all of our delicious menu items except alcohol can be ordered online for pickup or can be delivered with DoorDash.

  3. What is CakePay™?

    Our CakePay app is being discontinued and will no longer be available for use beginning August 1, 2021.  If you had the CakePay app, any payment methods you may have saved in the app will be removed, and your personal data will be anonymized for your security and deleted in accordance with the company’s record retention guidelines.  While we are saying goodbye to CakePay, we are pleased to offer a contactless QR code payment option in all our restaurants.  Please ask your server for more information.  In addition to our QR payment method in our restaurants, we still offer an online order and payment option through our website for pickup and delivery.

  4. Do you do anything special for guests celebrating a birthday or other special occasion?

    The Cheesecake Factory is the perfect place to celebrate!  If you order dessert, we’ll personalize the plate with "Happy Birthday" (or Anniversary, Good Luck, etc.) and your special guest’s name written in chocolate or caramel.  We decorate the plate with candy confetti and place a candle on top.  Or, if you didn’t save room for dessert, we offer a complimentary birthday sundae with a tiny “scoopette” of vanilla ice cream, fudge, and top it with a crown of whipped cream, confetti pieces and a candle.

  5. What is the dress code?

    We are an upscale, casual dining restaurant.  Be comfortable and feel free to come as you are! Just come hungry!<

  6. Is it OK to bring babies and children?

    Absolutely!  If you need a kids’ menu, high chair or booster seat, please ask your host or  server.  We also have changing tables for infants in both men’s and women’s restrooms (or in our family restrooms).

  7. Can you accommodate strollers?

    Of course!  Our restaurants are happy to accommodate our smaller guests and their “wheels.”

  8. Can you accommodate wheelchairs?

    Absolutely! Just tell us when you check in. All our restaurants are accessible.

  9. Are service animals allowed?

    Yes, of course!  We welcome service animals in all our restaurants.  Sorry, no other pets allowed.

  10. Do you have Wi-Fi?

    At this time our restaurants do not offer Wi-Fi.

Menu

  1. What’s on your menu?

    If you want it, we have it!  Choose from more than 200 menu items including appetizers, pizzas, salads, pastas, specialties, fish and seafood, steaks and chops, burgers, sandwiches and our legendary cheesecakes and desserts.  The entire menu is available all day, too.  Our portions are large, but we don’t charge for sharing, or eat lighter with something from our appetizer, small plates and snacks or SkinnyLicious® Menu.  Whether you’re hosting a business lunch or celebrating with the whole family, we have something for everyone.

  2. How much does it usually cost for lunch or for dinner?  Drinks?

    Our entire menu is available all day. Lunch selections start at $8.95.  Lunch-Sized Portions of our salads, pastas and some specialties are also available until 5PM.  Dinner selections start at $12.95.  Small Plates & Snacks as well as Appetizers start at $4.50 and are fun to share.  Desserts, including our legendary cheesecake, start at $6.95, but may vary by location.  Prices for alcoholic beverages may vary by location, but wines by the glass start at $7.95.

  3. Can I buy a whole cheesecake at one of your restaurants?

    Absolutely! All our cheesecakes and specialty cakes are available for purchase at our Bakery Counter or you can order them online for pickup. All cheesecakes and specialty cakes come in 10-inch sizes, serving 12 – 15 people, and most are sold pre-sliced into 12 slices. Our most popular cheesecakes are also available in 7-inch sizes, serving 6 – 8 people.  Select cheesecakes come in our 6-inch size, serving 4 – 6 people. View pricing and order our cakes for pickup at your local restaurant. If purchased deeply chilled, they travel well and can be stored in your freezer to enjoy later. Defrost in your refrigerator overnight to enjoy at home.

    We welcome preorders if you would like to reserve a specific cake or size for your home, office, special occasion or holiday celebration. For those who cannot decide on just one cheesecake flavor, we have the perfect solution: Order half of two different 10" cheesecakes or layer cakes!

  4. Do you ship cakes or can I purchase one online?

    We do not ship our cakes but you can purchase some of our most popular cheesecakes online here through Harry and David. You can also order our cakes online for pickup at the restaurant or through DoorDash delivery.   5. Is there a kids’ menu?

    We are pleased to offer a wonderful menu for children 10 and younger. Please ask your host or server for a Kids’ Menu. For our youngest guests (those in a booster or highchair) we offer a complimentary “Baby Plate” with slices of banana and fresh bread to keep them busy and happy.

  6. Where can I find nutritional information?

    We take pride in serving only the freshest and finest ingredients available. Everything on the menu is made from scratch in-house every day so that we can maintain the highest food quality standards.  We provide complete nutritional information in our restaurants and online.

  7. Do you have special menus for guests with food sensitivities?

    We offer a variety of substitution options and always do our best to accommodate special requests to prepare your meal just the way you like it. In addition, almost all our restaurants offer a gluten free menu. When ordering, please inform your server of your needs and we will try to accommodate.

  8. Do you have any low-calorie items?

    Our SkinnyLicious® menu is always available and features more than more than 30 dishes that have 590 calories or less.  Choose from appetizers, salads, specialties and cocktails.

  9. Do you have menus in other languages or formats?

    A few restaurants offer menus in Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Please ask your server for details.

  10. How often do you change your menu?

    We update our menu twice a year to keep our menu fresh and exciting for all our guests. See our newest menu items.

Gift Cards

  1. Do you sell gift cards and what are the terms of sale?

    Traditional plastic Gift Cards are available for purchase from any of our restaurants and from many well-known grocery stores, drug stores and other retailers, as well as some mall kiosks. Additionally, in the US, Gift Cards (both electronic and traditional plastic) are available for purchase. All Gift Cards purchased by our guests are subject to separate terms of sale . All Gift Cards purchased by businesses or aggregators are subject to separate terms of sale. US Gift Cards can only be redeemed in the US and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. They are not redeemable in our Canadian restaurant. In Canada, we only offer traditional plastic Gifts Cards at this time, which may be purchased from our Canadian restaurant. You can only redeem Canadian Gift Cards in our Canadian restaurants. They are not redeemable in the US or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Canadian eGift Cards will be coming soon.

    “Gift Cards” refers to The Cheesecake Factory branded traditional plastic gift cards and/or eGift Cards. “eGift Cards” refers to The Cheesecake Factory branded traditional electronic gift cards. We will deliver eGift Cards to you or your designated recipient by email.

  2. How do I check the balance on my gift card?

    You can check the balance of your US Gift Card. If you are having difficulty checking your balance, please call our Gift Card hotline at 888-891-2429, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    You can check the balance of your Canadian Gift Card by calling our Gift Card hotline at 1-888-891-2429, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  3. Why do I need to scratch off the panel on the back of my traditional plastic Gift Card?

    By scratching off the coating on the panel, you will reveal a PIN (personal identification number). This PIN number is an added security function and is necessary to check the balance of your Gift Card on our website.

  4. What if my Gift Card is lost or stolen?

    We are unable to replace or provide refunds for Gift Cards that have been lost or stolen.

  5. What are the terms and conditions of use for the US Gift Cards?

    Gift Card can only be used at a The Cheesecake Factory® restaurant in the United States of America, including the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and only for payment in restaurant or online at order.thecheesecakefactory.com • Gift Card cannot be used to pay for delivery orders.

  6. What are the terms and conditions of use for the Canadian Gift Cards?

    Gift Card can only be used at a The Cheesecake Factory® restaurant in Canada, and only for payment in restaurant.

    • Please safeguard the Gift Card as it cannot be replaced if lost or stolen • Gift Card does not expire or accrue fees • Except where required by law, Gift Card cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash • Gift Card balances cannot be transferred onto, exchanged with, or used to purchase other Gift Cards or Bonus Cards • Where prohibited by law, you cannot use the Gift Card to pay for alcoholic beverages • Use of the Gift Card constitutes acceptance of these terms • Gift Card is subject to all provincial and federal laws and regulations, which may change from time to time.   7. Can I combine Gift Card balances or use the balance on one Gift Card toward the purchase of another Gift Card?

    Gift Card balances cannot be transferred onto or used to purchase other Gift Cards.

  8. May I use Gift Cards at a restaurant operated by an affiliated company or to purchase The Cheesecake Factory, The Cheesecake Factory at Home, or The Cheesecake Factory Bakery products from other retailers?

    US Gift Cards may only be used at The Cheesecake Factory restaurants in the United States of America, including the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Canadian Gift Cards may only be used at The Cheesecake Factory restaurants in Canada (as applicable).

  9. May I use the Gift Card to pay for delivery orders?

    Gift Card cannot be used to pay for delivery orders. Gift Card can only be used to pay in restaurant or online at order.thecheesecakefactory.com

  10. I received a With Our Compliments card (“Bonus Card”). What is the difference between a Bonus Card and a Gift Card?

    Bonus Cards are not Gift Cards. Bonus Cards may be given for various reasons, free of charge. They are subject to separate terms and conditions of use from our Gift Cards. The terms and conditions of use of a Bonus Card are as follows:

    Bonus Cards can only be used at a The Cheesecake Factory® restaurant in the United States of America, including the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and only for payment directly to the restaurant or online at order.thecheesecakefactory.com • Bonus Card cannot be used to pay for delivery orders.

    • Bonus Card cannot be redeemed for cash • Please safeguard your Bonus Card as it cannot be replaced if lost or stolen • Bonus Card balance cannot be transferred onto, exchanged with, or used to purchase Gift Cards or other Bonus Cards • Bonus Cards do not expire or accrue fees • Where prohibited by law, you cannot use a Bonus Card to pay for alcoholic beverages • Bonus Card cannot be used for gratuities or tips • Use of Bonus Card constitutes acceptance of these terms • Bonus Card is subject to all state and federal laws and regulations, which may change from time to time.   11. What happens if I don't have sufficient balance on my Gift Card to pay for my purchase?

    The balance remaining on your Gift Card will be applied toward your purchase. Any remaining amount due can be paid by cash or credit card.

  12. My Gift Card was not properly activated, what do I do?

    If you purchased your Gift Card from one of our restaurants, contact us here. Or if you purchased your Gift Card from our website, contact us here, and we will be able to assist you. If you purchased your Gift Card from a third party retailer (e.g. grocery store, drug store or big box store), please return to (or contact) such third party retailer and provide them with your Gift Card information and proof of purchase for assistance.

  13. How do I redeem an eCard?

    There are three ways to redeem:

    1. If you choose to print this page, then the eCard number (16 digits) and PIN (8 digits) must be legible to redeem. Present the printed eCard to your server at time of payment.

    2. If you choose to redeem from your mobile device, inform your server and write the 16-digit eCard number legibly (spaces between every 4 numbers) on the bottom of the check.

    3. To redeem with pick-up orders, please provide eCard number (16 digits) and PIN (8 digits) at time of purchase or use the eCard number through our online ordering platform

    This eCard cannot be used to pay for DoorDash pick-up or delivery orders.

  5. What do your restaurants do with extra food?

    The Cheesecake Factory has a longstanding commitment to helping fight hunger. Through our Nourish Program we collect and donate surplus food from our restaurants to feed hungry people in our local communities. 

  6. Do you make charitable donations?

    We established The Oscar & Evelyn Charitable Foundation to unite our caring and conscientious staff members in charitable causes. Our Foundation donates to non-profit hunger organizations and other charities to support communities throughout America.
